Prior to joining First Financial Group, I provided commercial loans to small businesses on a national level. When the banking industry suffered in 2008, my prior experience working with First Financial Group made for a seamless transition to financial planning. I already knew that First Financial Group was a Best Place to Work (Philadelphia Business Journal 2006-2011) in the Philadelphia area. I could now use my finance and banking experience to help people in a much more meaningful way.
I have been successful because my goal is to do what is right for my clients. They know that they can trust me, and that I work for a company with a 125 year history. I anticipate being with First Financial Group for the long-term. I feel that First Financial Group gives me the support that I need and the best chance to make the biggest difference in people’s lives.

Prior to joining First Financial Group, I majored in finance at Penn State University. I did a six month co-op program in corporate finance during my junior year with Johnson and Johnson and the summer before my senior year, I did a 10 week internship with Merrill Lynch.
I decided to work in financial services because I've always been attracted to numbers and money. I also wanted to get into a career where I had the ability to help others. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and knew that I wanted to be in a career where I could control my own destiny. I found financial services to be a great fit because it satisfied what I was looking for in a career from an intellectual standpoint and at the same time allowed me to be on my own boss and constantly interact with others.
I chose First Financial Group because I found it to be the most personal and intimate firm that I had interviewed with. When I looked at other companies, I found a lot of them to be more product focused but First Financial Group seemed to care the most about developing a complete plan that could help a client through all phases of their financial life.

Prior to joining First Financial Group, I was coaching college women’s basketball at Appalachian State University in North Carolina. I decided to return to the financial services industry because I wanted to run my own business and I began to think long-term regarding the type of lifestyle I wanted to lead/have. I am one of five children, and I wanted to spend more time with my family and boyfriend. Joining First Financial Group allowed me to run my own business, spend time with my family and have a comfortable lifestyle.
I joined First Financial Group because, unlike so many other firms I interviewed with, their focus is on doing what is best for our clients as opposed to selling a product.

Upon entering college 25 years ago, I knew my future career had to include a competitive environment, have potential for personal and professional growth, offer leadership opportunities, and ultimately have a positive impact on others. Financial services seemed to provide an endless array of options to meet my personal and professional goals.
After 21 years in the industry, I am pleased to confirm that if one always does what is right for the client, stays committed to personal growth, and aligns with high integrity partners, then the possibilities for a rewarding career are endless. Prior to joining the First Financial Group, I was able to realize many goals including leading a national retirement segment. That said, what is exciting about our industry is the ability to reach even further and try new things. In October of 2010, I had the opportunity to meet First Financial Group’s Leadership Team. What is most important to me in partnering with a new organization is that they must be committed to always doing what is in the best interest of the client. I did not think that I would find this again, but First Financial Group has lived up to the saying, “the proof is in the pudding.”
