Harris S. Fishman, CLU, ChFC, has accomplished significant achievements within the insurance and financial services industry. With his leadership abilities and commitment to service, Harris has taken First Financial Group to soaring heights in the Philadelphia region.
Harris is President of First Financial Group and General Agent for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) with locations in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. For the past 24 years, Harris has specialized in advising business owners, professionals and high net worth individuals with their financial and estate planning.
Under Harris’ leadership, First Financial Group has grown from 40 to over 100 full-time financial professionals. First Financial Group services over 21,000 clients. Our policy and account values exceed 1 billion dollars (As of 12/31/2009. Includes values of MassMutual and subsidiary insurance companies and retirement products and investment products offered through MML Investors Services, LLC, a MassMutual subsidiary).
First Financial Group has won the Crystal Achievement Award for seven consecutive years (2003-2010) for consistent growth and has won a Gold Chairman’s Trophy in 2008 and 2010 for outstanding performance.

Harris is active in many community groups. He serves on the board and is Chair of the Finance Committee at Old York Road Temple Beth-Am and on the board of the Easter Seals of Southeastern Pennsylvania. He was recently honored by the Association of Adults with Developmental Disabilities for his dedication and commitment to their organization.
Harris graduated with honors from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance in 1989 and attended Darden Business School’s Executive Leadership Program. Harris is a Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant. He holds Series 7, 6, 65, 63 and 24 registrations with FINRA, and is a registered principal with MML Investor Services. He is currently the Treasurer of MassMutual’s General Agent Association.
